Make It Picture Perfect

People will always share a moment that is picture perfect.

Social media is full of excited travelers who regularly upload their vacation photos. In 2018 it\’s become second nature to share. And why not? Everyone is online these days. The figures are astounding; Twitter now has 335 million users, Instagram has 800 million users and now one billion people use Facebook.

 If just a fraction of those people are sharing photos of your travel destination (even better accompanied by the relevant hashtag or @), that\’s a lot of media coverage you don\’t have to pay for.

 The numbers add up. A survey by AdParlor revealed that 65% of leisure and 69% of business travels agree that they turn to the web early on in their travel planning process for research.

But – and it\’s a big but –

You have to give people a reason to share.

 You must create a picture perfect back drops for your guests to use and that they will be proud to share on social media.

In the hospitality industry flower walls are on trend this year but there are many other things you can do. Install a swing, a fire pit, a bench in a flower-filled garden or an interesting sculpture in the lobby.

If it’s within your brand/vibe, for my money you can\’t beat one of those giant cut outs that you put you and your family can put their heads through in restaurants. I don\’t think I\’ve ever passed up the opportunity to be a mermaid or a pirate!

These are the fun and memorable moments that your clients will love to share with their family, followers and friends.
